Abstract:
Fully Autonomous cars are being tested across multiple cities in America and abroad. As fully self-driving cars become more prevalent so do questions and discussion regarding the ethics of self driving cars and how they should function. This paper looks at the current state of the debate, current research into autonomous car driving data and comes to the conclusion that: Autonomous vehicles ought to never function without human oversight and input because of the current harms being caused by autonomous car developments and the issue with applying moral frameworks to A.I.
