Abstract:
The sports journalism industry faces some daunting challenges in the years to come. Many seem to view the field in a less-than-flattering light; confusing commentary for responsible sports reporting. Although news journalists are constantly evaluated regarding their ethical activities in their professional work, sports journalism is perceived to have inherent ethical lapses. This documentary attempts to evaluate the current ethical landscape of the sports journalism industry, to dissect public perception, and to understand the possible steps to reforming future ethical procedure in the field.
