Abstract:
OnlineMechanix.com is the product of more than a year of hard work and determination. Serving the auto repair industry, the company provides shops with the ability to schedule appointments online with their customers, keep track of all their appointments with an online calendar, and a way to reach new customers online. This thesis consists of four parts. Following the literature review is a journal that goes into great detail about the steps that were taken to start OnlineMechanix.com. The journal is intended to be a resource for any aspiring entrepreneur because it describes the trials, tribulations and successes that are inherent in starting a business. The next part of this thesis is the business plan for OnlineMechanix.com, which is actually being used to develop financial support. The final section summarizes what has been learned from the process and provides insight for other would-be entrepreneurs.
