Abstract:
This report analyzes three proposed technical alternate building methods for a large commercial residential building. Alternates are evaluated for cost, schedule, quality, and safety concerns. The three technical analyses include a redesign of the structural stud system, a redesign of the facade system, and the implementation of a constructability review. The report also includes a research analysis which explores the role of personality within construction teams, particularly within the context of project delivery methods.
