WEKA Database Opioid Overdose Classification Data Model
Abstract:
Penn State Abington’s Opioid Database has proven very useful for drawing connections between overdose victims within Montgomery County and various common aspects in their lives. Through exploring the origins and statistics regarding the Opioid Crisis as a whole and information contained within a database, this thesis takes the next step by using data mining and computer classification techniques to attempt to see if basic factors about a deceased patient, when entered into an algorithm, can accurately predict certain trends about them, specifically the doctor that prescribed the medication.
