Abstract:
Doping strategies are widely used while building devices for neuromorphic applications. This thesis reviews recent researches on several types of dopants for MoS2 and WSe2, which are known as layered transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), sets up experiments to ensure the reproductivity of Benzyl Viologen (BV) doped MoS2, and tests doping effect of Benzyl Viologen for WSe2. The results indicate that Benzyl Viologen does not have significant doping effect on WSe2, while overly n-doped MoS2 loses gate control.
