Abstract:
"The Stacks" follows the story of three, true-crime obsessed roommates in search of a final hurrah before graduating college. After learning of an unsolved murder that occurred at their school 40 years prior, Eliza, Clara and Eve take it upon themselves to solve the crime. In a series of misdirection, sleuthing, and self-discovery, our protagonists discover the buried secrets that lie in the shadows of their university. The purpose of this screenplay was to immerse myself in the creative and scholarly process screenwriting requires, while also developing an industry standard screenplay for the competitive and evolving film industry.
