Abstract:
With the rapid development of digitalization, the payment people are used to now is likely to go through an upgrade and transformation. As the Central Bank Digital Currency is still a topic under consideration and experiment, this thesis will introduce its concept and study the status of different countries are at. According to different processes, countries are divided into countries that have used CBDC for payment, countries that are in the process of exploring CBDC, and countries that are still considering it. Through the collection and comparison of the information, this thesis aims to present a brief conclusion and forecast for the future payment method.
