Sportsbetting Sports Betting Deep Neural Network DNN NCAA College Basketball Algorithm Python
Abstract:
This thesis aims to give a better a competitive edge against the Vegas Sportsbooks. An algorithm was created for the NCAA Division 1 College Basketball league to create a predictive model. The goal was to show that the house does not always win at a casino, and there are ways to make educational guesses using statistics to predict just about anything that happens in the world. Using python to create a deep neural network using calculated parameters, an algorithm was created to predict the final point differential of any game. The algorithm was put to the test to predict the 2022 NCAA Tournament, and would have led to taking the correct spread 60.3% of the time.
